alfred adler

Alfred Adler 1870 was born in Vienna, Austria. He had rickets when he was a kid which stopped him from walking until he was four. Because of his health problems  when he was a kid, Adler decided he would become a physician and, after graduating from the University of Vienna in 1895 with a medical degree, began his career as an ophthalmologist and later switched to general practice.

Adler was studying child Psychology.

His best-known work is  Theory of Individual Psychology.  he believed that people are focused on keeping control over their lives. He believed  motivating force behind our behavior, claiming that the want we have to fulfill our potentials becomes closer.

Adler was the first Feminist theorist. In his book ¨Co-Operation between the Sexes: Writings on Women, Love and Marriage¨, he talked about the equal rights of women.

Adler made the Society for Individual Psychology when he took a break from psychoanalytic.
