Dennis Gabor

In the beginning he was born (June 5 1900)  into a jewish family in Hungary, his family switched  to Lutheranism, Besides the religious background, his religion played a minor role.  He served in  northern Italy  during World War I.  He studied at the Technical University of Budapest from 1918.
