George Washington Carver was born into slavery in 1864 and died in 1943. A week after Carver was born his mom, sister, and him were all kidnapped and they all ended up getting sold in Kentucky. Carver went on to become one of the most Important/famous scientists and inventors of his time, as well as a teacher at the Tuskegee Institute. Carver had many inventions dealing with the peanut. He was a champion of crop rotation
