Wernher Von Braun
Introduction about him
Wernher von braun was a German Scientist who later became an american scientist who was a big leader and developer of rocket technology in Germany during world war 2. Now people think of him as the “father of rocket science” he was born March 23 1912 and died June 16 1977. His death was caused by pancreatic Cancer. He is buried in Alexandria Virginia. As a kid he loved math and always asked for help on trigonometry and doing this he fell in love with it which helped him on later in life.
Rocket Scientist accomplishments
He built the Saturn V rocket of the Apollo which help make a team of 6 astronauts reach the surface of the moon. Became a Nasa space scientist after coming here from Germany and worked on many different types of rockets including the Saturn v the and many other Saturn type rockets. Around the 1950's He worked with Walt Disney studios as a technical director on some television programs about different things in space and space exploration. He is one of the main reasons why the first people were able to make it on the moon.
